A Green Moment Smoothie

Smoothies are where the plant based diet came to life for me.  This has been my everyday go to power breakfast for the last 4 years.  There are a dozen different additions or alterations you can make to this depending on your mood.  My kids start their day with it too.  It was one of the ways I started introducing their palette to “green”.  I blend mine in a Vitamix (by far the most used appliance in my kitchen), but any blender will do.  Power On!

A Green Moment Smoothie

*Tips, Additions & Variations:

  •  Add ingredients in the order listed.
  • Over-ripe bananas will make it sweeter and dominate the flavor of the smoothie.
